Originally from New Zealand, Rowan has called Montréal home since 2010. Before establishing Rowan James Design, he worked as a creative partner and studio manager alongside artist Renée Condo.

His approach to design is informed by extensive travel throughout Asia and around the world, alongside a lifelong engagement with art, yoga and meditation, martial arts, and the natural world.
